発売を延期した『グランツーリスモ5』、プロデューサーの山内一典氏はTwitterで「延期しちゃってごめん。複雑なシステムを落ち着かせるのに手間がかかったせいです。ほんとごめんね。みんな、すまない・・・。ちょっとまってて。」とコメント。
「お疲れさまです、年末には何とか！」との参加者からの問いかけには、「はい、そこまで待たせなくて済むと思います。」とコメントした。
ソニーの発表では、発売時期は2010年の年末商戦期としているので、12月上旬から中旬にかけての発売となりそうだ。
