レゴジャパンは、レゴブロックで制作した「LEGO MERCEDES-AMG PETRONAS F1 W14 E PERFORMANCE」実物大モデルを4月4日、鈴鹿サーキットで開催されるF1日本グランプリ会場内ブースにて世界初披露する。

この実物大モデルは、18歳以上向けの「レゴテクニック Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance」と7歳以上向けの「レゴテクニックMercedes-AMG F1 W14 Pull-Back」の発売を記念して制作されたもの。メルセデスAMGペトロナスフォーミュラ1チームの協力を得て作られたこのモデルは、F1日本グランプリ開催期間中にレゴテクニックブースで展示され、その後中国やシンガポールでも公開される予定だ。
来場者は実物大モデルとの記念撮影ができ、ブース内ではモデルの詳細や制作過程のムービーも見ることができる。さらに、ルイス・ハミルトン選手やジョージ・ラッセル選手のサイン入りレゴ商品が特別展示され、これらを抽選で当てることができるSNSキャンペーンが4月4日より開始される。
