ソニー・コンピュータエンタテインメントジャパン（SCEJ）は20日、東京モーターショーでの『グランツーリスモ』（GT）シリーズとトヨタ自動車とのコラボレーションを発表。グランツーリスモブースでは『FT-86コンセプト』の走りをいち早く体験することができる。

トヨタが発表する小型FRスポーツのコンセプトモデル『FT-86コンセプト』の走りを、プレイステーション3専用オンラインカーライフシミュレーター「グランツーリスモ5」（GT5）の中でいち早く楽しめる試乗体験コーナーを設置する。
　
発表したばかりの最新スポーツカーのコンセプトモデルを実車さながらのビジュアルと挙動でヴァーチャルに試乗できる。
　
グランツーリスモブースでは、レーシングシートに大画面液晶モニターとステアリングコントローラを装着した本格的な試乗環境で「GT5第41回東京モーターショー2009バージョン」を来場者に提供する。
